Nikita an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Hyderabad, where she also works as a Research Assistant focusing on blockchain architecture and privacy-preserving blockchain redaction. Prior to joining IIT Hyderabad, she worked at HCLTech for 2.5 years as a Software Engineer, following a 6-month internship. During her time at HCLTech, she primarily worked on backend systems, APIs, and event-processing workflows.

Her current research and technical interests include blockchain, cryptography, distributed systems, and AI/ML. She is also exploring large language models (LLMs) by building a language model from scratch. Outside of academics and engineering, she enjoys listening to music and reading novels.
