Vikas Ravi Patil is a Software Engineer at DENSO Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, working in the Social Innovation and Business Development Function Unit, where he focuses on developing innovative and scalable technology solutions for the automotive industry.

He received his M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Hyderabad, where he was awarded the Silver Medal for securing the highest CGPA in the CSE Department. During his graduate studies, he worked as a Research Assistant in collaboration with DENSO Corporation, Japan, researching Inter-Blockchain Communication, with a focus on developing cross-chain communication protocols and enabling secure asset ownership transfer. His research work was published at IEEE DAPPS 2025.

His research interests include blockchain, distributed systems, computer networks, and Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), with a broader interest in applying emerging technologies to address real-world challenges. Outside of work and research, he enjoys playing badminton, table tennis and watching movies.
